| With DataAssure how secure are you? |
 |
An effective backup and disaster recovery program must protect against physical
and logical data disruption, and DataAssure does both. Our comprehensive approach
to protecting your data has been developed and refined through millions of backups
and thousands of restores since 2000. DataAssure is not a reseller and does not
rely on a third-party to operate its vaults. Because we never relinquish control
of your data to an outside vendor, there is no middleman limiting access, lessening
security, and adding cost to the service we provide.

| Facilities |
|
The DataAssure primary facilities are located in a real Vault protected behind a physical
firewall and guarded 24 hours a day, seven days a week by on-site personnel and
manned digital video surveillance. Vault access is further restricted to only designated personnel
and protected with additional security layers. The facilities are equipped with fully
redundant network operation centers (NOC), networks, air conditioning, utility power, UPS power, emergency power generation systems, UL monitored advanced VESDA smoke and fire detection systems with FM-200 waterless suppression, humidity, water infiltration detection, and UL monitored intrusion protection. |
 |
| Data Availability |
|
|
| To protect data from physical disruptions such as hardware failure,
DataAssure uses established industry practices of layers of replicated servers and fail
over technologies. Since the data is automatically transferred off site, the DataAssure
service protects against all physical disruptions caused by catastrophic events at the
client site. |
| Redundant Physical Locations |
| The data is maintained in both a primary data center and a secondary
remote data center. This added safeguard of backing up to geographically separate facilities ensures
the data is safe in the unlikely event that access to a facility is affected by an emergency.
The primary data center is a state of the art leading edge technology Tier-3 World-Class facility located in Atlanta, GA. The
secondary data center is a state of the art leading edge technology Tier-2 facility located in Norcross, GA in a Class A purpose built commercial building. The facilities are SSAE 16 (Formerly, SAS 70), CyberTrust, HIPAA/HITECH, FDA, PCI/DSS, ECDDP/Safe Harbor, SOX, ISO 27001 (formerly ISO 17799) and GLBA regulatory compliant. The data center facilities comply with ANSI/TIA-942, BICSI and other standards established by the Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, NFPA and critical infrastructure manufacturers. |
